BART Transportation, located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, was formed in June 1987, with one van, to provide van shuttle service between points in Southeast Missouri and the St. Louis airport.

In November 1988, service was added from Carbondale, Murphysboro and Marion, Illinois areas to the St. Louis airport.  In February 1990 we further expanded that service to include West Frankfort, Benton, and Mt. Vernon and in November 1992 we expanded again, beginning service between Springfield-Decatur, IL areas to St. Louis.

Our service is by reservation and is provided in luxury conversion vans, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Our office staff in Cape Girardeau, Missouri handles all the management, administrative duties, reservations and dispatching.

We presently have a total fleet of 18 vans.  Eight are in Cape Girardeau, six are located in the Carbondale area and four in Springfield.  Thirteen of these are owned by individuals who operate them for us as Owner-Operators.  Their investment adds even more motivation to provide quality service to our passengers so that our base of regular riders continues to grow.

We attribute much of our success and growth to the dedication of our staff, drivers and owner operators.  Their efficiency has resulted in our dependable reputation and we fully expect this to continue.
